She is currently a Full Time Regulator Member responsible for the economic regulation of the Gas Industry and Acting Full Time Regulator Member responsible for Electricity Regulation appointed by the Minister of Energy to act until the position is filled. She serves in other regulatory committees that take regulatory decisions on matters relating to Petroleum and Electricity Subcommittees at NERSA. She also serves as a member of the National Consumer Tribunal which adjudicates on consumer protection credit matters. Collectively she has 20 years experience in Competition Law Enforcement and Economic Regulation. She held various positions at the Department of Trade and Industry, responsible for policy formulation and developing regulation and legislation. She served as the economic regulator for telecommunication, ICASA. Special appointments by Minister of Energy to be responsible for additional portfolios such as:
Full-Time Regulator Member for Petroleum Pipelines Industry Regulation for one year in 2017; Full-Time Regulator Member for Electricity Industry Regulation from 2018 until the position is filled; assigned to provide thoughtful leadership in regulating two additional Energy Sectors enable her to demonstrate and apply her excellent economic regulatory skills and knowledge to contribute positively for the benefit of the industry.
