Upstream Manager, Infrastructure, Middle East & Africa, IFC
Dan Croft is Upstream Manager for the Middle East and Africa in IFC's Infrastructure Department. He is responsible for developing and implementing IFC's 'Upstream' strategy, involving early-stage market and project development initiatives, and for IFC InfraVentures across the MEA region. He was previously in the PPP Transaction Advisory Services Department in Africa for five years, focusing on renewable energy, including the development and implementation of the Scaling Solar program. Before joining IFC, Dan was a Senior Lawyer for Globeleq and then Director of Business Development for Empower. He started his career in the Project Finance / Energy & Infrastructure team at Clifford Chance, in London, Singapore and Moscow. Dan holds an LLB from Durham University, an LLM from University College London and an Executive MBA from London Business School.
