Competition Partner: EnergyNet and Africa Energy Forum.
Prize: EnergyNet will give away one ticket to the Africa Energy Forum 2024, taking place in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, from 24-27 June 2024
Who is Eligible: Attendees at this year’s Africa Energy Forum and Power Africa’s reception
Terms and conditions:
- You must have attended the Africa Energy Forum 2023 as a registered delegate or attendee of Power Africa’s private reception.
- Selfies must include Power Africa branding.
- Your post must include a positive, congratulatory message to Power Africa for its 10th anniversary.
- All Twitter and LinkedIn posts must include Power Africa and EnergyNet tags. Excluding either organization will exclude your post from the selection process.
- For Instagram entries, you must tag both Power Africa and YES!
- Only posts on your Instagram feed will qualify. Stories are not eligible.
- All posts on any channel must include hashtags: #PowerAfricaAt10 & #AEF23
- To qualify for entry into the competition, your post must be posted by Friday, June 23, 2023, at 14:00 EAT.
- The prize is as stated; no cash or other alternatives will be offered.
- The prize is not transferable.
- The prize includes only aef 2024 ticket and excludes accommodation, transportation, and all other associated costs.
- Each post with the correct hashtags and tags equals one entry.
- The competition is open to attendees of #aef23 aged 18 years or over except employees of Power Africa, EnergyNet, and YES!, their close relatives, and anyone otherwise connected with the organization or judging of the competition.
- By entering this competition, an entrant indicates their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
- The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and terms and conditions without notice for any reason. The promoter will notify entrants of any changes to the competition as soon as possible.
- The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party.
How will the winner be selected?
- Each post tagging Power Africa and EnergyNet with the correct hashtags will be added to a Google Sheet and assigned a number.
- The winner will be randomly selected using Google random number generator from all entries received and verified by EnergyNet.
- Winner to be announced on Power Africa & EnergyNet social media channels.
How To Enter:
- Take a selfie with any Power Africa branded item (selfies at the booth, lapel pin, light boxes, tote bag, etc.).
- Add a message to congratulate Power Africa on its 10-year anniversary.
- Tag Power Africa and EnergyNet on Twitter and/or LinkedIn.
- You can also upload your photo to Instagram and tag Power Africa and YES! (@powerafrica, @youthenergysummit).
- Add the hashtags: #PowerAfricaAt10 & #aef23 to your post.
- Post by Friday, June 23, 2023, at 14:00 EAT.
The winner will be selected in a random draw taking place on July 6, 2023.
